Northern Indiana Educational Services Center (NIESC) is one of nine Educational Service Center's (ESC) in the state of Indiana. Each ESC serves a region of Indiana and through cooperative efforts offers services and products throughout the state.
NIESC is dedicated to support our member school corporations, their staff, and students through innovation and service.

Are you in need of specialized training to renew your teaching license? We offer wide range of professional development opportunities through the school year. Topics are determined from the results of an extensive survey sent to every district and building administrator, and any ateacher attending a recent workshop.
Our Cooperative Purchasing Program has the potential to save your corporation thousands of dollars each year. It will make a positive difference in your building level supply account. We help you stretch those classroom supply dollars. As a member, you are eligible to purchase from several statewide bids and Market Basket items throug hthe K12-Indiana/Spendbridge Procurement site. Our purhcasing department can also save money on cafeteria food and supplies, bread and dairy items, waste removal and fire safety protection.
We have responded to the cycle of changes made to the National School Lunch Program by providing our members the opportunity to contract with our own registered dietician. The regisrtered dietician assists with the current requirements for food service pesonnel in continuing their professional development. Our dietican can guide your school corporation through the certification process, setting up menus to meet the current guidelines and provide sanitation training.
