RE:                   Awarding of Dairy Bids

 

 

Bids for Milk & Dairy were due on April 15, 2011.  The Food Service Directors met on May 5, 2011 to go over the bids and make recommendations.  Vendors will need to contact the schools to make final arrangements.

 

The CENTER received dairy bids from Schenkel's/Dean Foods and Clovercrest Dairy. Clovercrest only bid on MSD of New Durham Township and South Central. New Durham chose to award to Clovercrest, while South Central chose to award their bid to Schenkel's/Dean Foods based on their outstanding service to them over the past couple of years.  Schenkel's Dairy was the only bidder for all other school corporations.  Vendors were asked to supply a "firm" price and an "escalator" price.  The recommendations are as follows for the period of July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012:
