Description:
Indiana’s new MTSS legislation calls for more than compliance. It calls for intentional systems that support every learner and every teacher. The MTSS Roadmap is a collaborative workshop designed for school and district leaders who are responsible for building, refining, or leading a math-focused MTSS system aligned to Indiana’s new requirements.
This workshop is intentionally designed to be most effective when attended by a team, not an individual. MTSS decisions impact instruction, staffing, schedules, data use, and resources. No single role holds all of that knowledge. Bringing a team allows schools and districts to think collectively, surface assumptions, and design a system that is coherent and realistic for their specific context.
Rather than prescribing a one-size-fits-all model, this session provides leaders with the key questions, decision points, and considerations necessary to design an MTSS system that fits their school or district. Participants will be guided in thinking through MTSS design in light of their unique constraints and assets, including funding, time, staffing, instructional priorities, and available resources.
Participants will engage in structured thinking and collaboration around:
- What an effective Math MTSS system looks like within Indiana’s mandate
- How instruction, intervention, and assessment connect across tiers
- How data can be used intentionally to inform instructional decisions
- Roles, responsibilities, and communication structures within MTSS
- Designing systems that are sustainable for teachers and responsive to students
This workshop is ideal for administrators, instructional leaders, MTSS coordinators, curriculum leaders, and district teams who want to move beyond compliance and toward a math MTSS system that works in practice - not just on paper.
If you are responsible for MTSS implementation and want to design a system that reflects the realities of your school or district, bring a team and let us help you develop your MTSS Roadmap.
