The Northern Indiana Educational Service Center (NIESC) is seeking a Food Service Specialist to provide services to member school districts of NIESC and member school districts of the Northwest Indiana Educational Service Center (NWIESC).  Services may include other member school districts of other Educational Service Centers in Indiana.

Position:   Food Service Specialist

Preferred Credentials:

• Bachelor’s degree with an academic major in areas of food and nutrition, dietetics, food service management, nutrition education, culinary arts, business, or a related field.
• Extensive relevant knowledge and experience in areas such as institutional or school food service operations, management, business and/or nutrition education.
• Food Service Manager and/or Food Service Director experience preferred

Contract:  

• 12-month
• 260 day / per year 
• Benefits provided for a 12-month employee
• Salary:  $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 (commensurate with experience)
